VERNON YU

Vernon Yu joined Shultz Collins in September 2023. As an advisor, he participates in every aspect of portfolio supervision for the firm’s clients.

Prior to joining Schultz Collins, Mr. Yu was a portfolio manager and investment analyst for over two decades, specializing in Asian equity markets and financial institutions research, based in Hong Kong and Singapore. He was most recently a Director at Lazard Asset Management in Singapore, and held similar roles at Alliance Bernstein and HSBC Asset Management in Hong Kong.

Mr. Yu grew up in the East Bay, and holds a degree in Asian Studies from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association. He is proficient in Mandarin and Cantonese.

In his spare time, Mr. Yu enjoys playing tennis, being outdoors, spending time with his wife and staying active with his twin boys.
